Work closely with designers, product managers, and developers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation. Helps bridge the gap between the development team and all the other departments in the company. Provides leadership and mentoring to teammates. Assignments are broad in nature, requiring latitude for unreviewed action.*Essential Functions*As part of the digital development team, this role will be responsible for designing and developing new features and functionality, establishing and guiding the website’s architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the Drupal CMS. Works with colleagues to build, develop, and deploy custom website functionality as needed. Works closely with the developer team to ensure that projects are delivered correctly and on time.* Responsible for the implementation and testing of technical solutions. Adheres to accepted best practice coding standards.* Tests, develops, builds, and coordinates the integration of new products per production requirements.* Responsible for training and mentoring developer staff members* Document solutions with concise and clear explanations* Nimble troubleshooting of issues* Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with various browsers, devices, or operating systems.*Knowledge/Skills/Abilities** Expert in web technologies including Nodejs HTML/ css, scss, javascript es6* Experience with React, Angular and component-based front end development* Passionate about using the full capabilities of JavaScript/HTML/CSS in the browser to effect good design, clean code, and elegant user interactions* Experience with GO* Preferred hands-on knowledge of all parts of the web stack – HTML/Javascript/CSS, web servers, app servers, caching, database development, tool development*Education & Experience/Licenses & Certification** Bachelor’s degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.* 4 to 8 years minimum experience working with related technology in an agile team environment*Work Environment/Physical Requirements*Can be based remotely depending upon capabilities, maturity, leadership acumen and personal situation. Works in an office environment sitting at a desk, table or computer workstation for extended periods of time. May travel by car, plane or other form of transportation to attend business meetings or conferences.
