Your future duties and responsibilities This position will support a rapidly growing business unit that develops new and enhances existing software solutions.
These solutions are used internally by CGI and sold to external customers.
Solutions are used in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
Working with a team of highly skilled and innovative full-stack application developers, these individuals will be responsible for full SDLC of web applications, which will include the following gatherdiscuss requirements with business analyst and other stakeholders web application front and back-end design and development, including Unit and Integration Tests for new and existing modules work collaboratively with team and clients in the implementation process, as well as provide technical support thereafter developmaintain required documentation for future reference Required qualifications to be successful in this role To be considered for this challenging and rewarding role, applicants must have a combination, but not all, of the following skills, knowledge and abilities Minimum requirements Minimum 2-4 years in Core Java, Groovy, XML, JSP, C, SQL experience.
Minimum 1-3 years database administration Basic Linux administration and Windows Server administration, including Tomcat server configuration tuning, JVM tuning Possess analytical skills in working with various IT teams including applications development teams, project management office and IT service delivery teams in defining processes for applications development, service delivery, project planning and time keeping.
Ability to map defined processes into designs with JIRA custom fields, screens, workflows and related schemes for various project types.
Experience with Scrum, Kanban, Lean or other agile methodologies.
Experience in DevOps and related tools including Git.
Experience in working in all areas of JIRA including complex workflow designs with use of triggers, conditions, validations and post functions.
Minimum 3-5 years supporting Atlassian products with expert experience in o application and add-on upgrades, o troubleshooting issues in JIRA Confluence BitBucket Bamboo tools and add-ons o optimizing designs in creating issues with conditions, validations and post functions o upgrading tools and add-ons Ability to document defined processes and develop and maintain training of the defined processes and the use of JIRA, Confluence as well as any associated tools.
Strong problem solving and excellent communication skills.
Agile, Scrum or ITIL certification.
Ability to work independently with little supervision Bacheloraposs Degree in Engineering, CS, MIS, or related field Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
