Senior Appian Developer – Remote

Employees enjoy various training based on job level and skillset, other training, and study guides for various certification areas and in person training hosted by Appian.Come work and learn with us!Required Skills and Qualifications:+ 5+ years of recent hands-on experience developing on the Appian platform+ 3+ years of experienced in configuring, developing, and troubleshooting Appian Sites and Tempo interfaces including configuring forms, reports, underlying expression logic, and other interface components.+ 3+ years of experience in configuring, developing, and troubleshooting Appian process models.+ 3+ years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale business critical applications following Agile methodologies.+ 2+ years of experience in the design and implementation of REST Web Services and Service Consumers using Appian API and Integration objects.+ 2+ years of experience developing Appian plugins – additional Java development experience using Maven builds is a strong plus.+ 2+ years of experience configuring Appian-compatible relational database schemas+ Must be able to work with stakeholders and end users to gather and refine requirements.+ Green Card Holder or US Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.+ Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.Desired Experience:+ Certified Level 1 Appian Developer (Certified Associate Developer) strongly preferred+ Certified Level 2 Appian Developer or Certified Level 3 Appian Developer (Certified Senior Developer/Certified Lead Developer) preferred+ Exposure to common industry platforms and programming languages – ServiceNow, Salesforce, Mule, Spring Framework, Apache Tomcat, Jenkins, Selenium RedHat Linux, AWS are preferred+ Experience communicating and troubleshooting Appian Cloud Platform level issues with Appian Support, including but not limited to managing certificates, configuring email, and handling custom domains.+ Experience implementing DevOps processes for Appian applications.+ Recent experience on a software development project in a US federal government setting, particularly experience in an Integrated Project Team.+ Recent experience in a Test-Driven Development environment+ Experience defining and documenting architecture for technology implementations leveraging different architectural views.+ Exposure to Enterprise Application integration (SOA, ESB) and n-tier client-server architectures+ Ability to understand the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term perspectives of situations.+ Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.+ Excellent analytical and technical skills.+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.+ Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.#AppianWorking at ICFWorking at ICF means applying a passion for meaningful work with intellectual rigor to help solve the leading issues of our day.
