The CRM Professional Team is seeking a high performing and motivated Salesforce Principal Developer who will be a key contributor in advancing the delivery of our Strategic/Growth Vision Are you interested in joining us on this Journey, as we expand our Salesforce product offerings/capabilities in support of our Customers?

Other duties may be assignedContribute to the Teams decisions on overall approach and participate in tactical dialogLead by example, seek consensus and help the team to be greater than the sum of its partsApprove overall technical design for solutions delivered on the Salesforce platformProvide expertise to address business, process, and technical opportunities and challengesIdentify technical design risks and develop mitigating approaches.
Guide and mentor developers and communicate closely with the rest of the Salesforce team including keeping stakeholders informed of solution progress and risksOwn the development/delivery of Salesforce features from inception to production implementationCollaborate with team members to ensure Salesforce development teams follow best practices when architecting, programming, and documenting solutionsIdentify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitabilityReview and provide feedback on detailed technical designConduct vendor analysis and proof-of-concepts/prototypes for new technologies/solutionsAct as knowledge expert and translator between business users and technical team membersWork with Salesforce Product Managers to maintain the backlog of features and epicsParticipate in estimation of feature sizings and prioritization discussionsActively participate in Advances Salesforce CoE (Circle of Excellence)Champion a truly agile, true DevOps, true CI/CD culture here at AdvanceStay up to date on the latest technology trends in requirements gathering, analysis and documentation and stay informed on the latest technology trends in the industryThe above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.

QUALIFICATIONS7 years of Salesforce experience including implementation, configuration, integration, workflows, validation rules, and security controlsExperience providing detailed Salesforce system and functional designsExpert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite including a combination of Sales, Service, Communities and Marketing Clouds, as well as the Force.com PlatformExpert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite including some combination of Sales, Experience (Communities), Service, and Marketing Clouds.
Listed in the order of expectationsExperience in designing and developing software components and having a strong background in database design and system architectureExperience with Release Management, Source Control, Deployment concepts/technologies and DevOps in a Salesforce environmentExperience with unlocked packaging model using Salesforce DXExperience in documenting current state business processes into future state recommendationsExpert level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps to desired end-states, and documenting/delivering a comprehensive solution that enables business goalsExperience integrating Salesforce with different business systems and working with integration tools (ESB and ETL)Experience in developing solutions for Large Volume Data using Apex and process automationsExperience in developing custom components using Aura and lightning web componentsAdvanced understanding of the Salesforce.com data model and how and when to create custom objects vs.
