In direct partnership with PKWARE, Element6 is looking for a Salesforce Developer to join us in continuing to develop and maintain our Salesforce.com solution, improve efficiency of business operations and support Sales, Marketing and Customer Success.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with extensive experience in Salesforce.com development environment and familiarity with Microsoft Technology Stack.
We are willing to supplement some deficiencies with training and education.
However, the ability to develop in Salesforce.com is required to succeed.

Duties and Responsibilities
Reviewing and understanding company drivers and context for development projects by assisting in the definition of required features and the mapping of Salesforce features to business processes.
Working with the Revenue/Sales/Operations teams to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
Data modeling, data migration and both API and user interface development principles.
Managing inflow and outflow of data, to ensure a central source of truth.
Managing Salesforce engineering projects throughout the entire Salesforce.com development life cycle (including technical design, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and support)
Maintain the consistency of business rules across all applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
Maintain and fit existing applications to evolving business rules and requirements.
Assist staff with complex cross platform/application support issues.
Navigate legacy application source code and database schemas
Follow published/documented best practices for solutions
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are considered beneficial and important to the role:
Holding or pursuing a 4 year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS/ITM (or related field) preferred with 5 years experience.
In depth experience within several positions/organizations in designing, developing, and administering a 100+ user org SFDC instance, Apex, Lightning web components, Aura, Data Loader, SOQL, SQL, SFDX and REST API integrations.
As well as a background with architecture concepts (integration styles, architecture styles, patterns.)
Expert working/deployment knowledge with Salesforce products such as: Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud Communities, Prodly, Pardot, Einstein, Salesforce CPQ, FinancialForce and Conga (application design, architecture and development using Salesforce.com.).
Solution architect experience on implementation projects using Agile and Iterative approach.
A strong background of software best practices and methodologies including, quality assurance, version control and CI/CD.
Familiarity with SFDX DevOps tools and deployment processes.
You adhere to Salesforce development best practices and guidelines in implementing solutions and test classes, without creating technical debt and maintaining security in the application.
A self-starter who has the ability to work independently, providing regular updates on expected deliverables through the framework of stand-ups, team meetings, and ongoing project communication.
Seeking out ways to utilize Salesforce to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support organizational scaling at a rapid pace.
Experience designing, building, and implementing software applications and integrations with Salesforce.com.
Strong time management skills, including the ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and unplanned work.
