Salesforce Developer

Job Purpose The position will be responsible for creating new functionality within Jacksonrsquos CRM application, Salesforce.com.

Works closely with the Salesforce.com Administrator and other team members to increase functionality and continually move the organization forward.

Essential Job Duties Responsibilities Develops and maintains Force.com applications as well as documents supporting the applications.

Works closely with external vendors as well as internal customers.

Records, tracks and resolves detailed business and technical issues.

Works within a small team to respond quickly to user requests which involves reviewing request and providing functional evaluations on possible solutions.

Maintains a repository of all project work for IT review.

Other Duties Stays current with CRM tools available through the CRM developer portal.

Acts as Model OfficeQuality Assurance liaison whenever necessary as related to new functionality rollout.

Any other project work assigned.

Knowledge, Skills Abilities Knowledge of various Web standards such as Javascript, HTTP protocols, AJAX, Flash and XML and JSON.

Able to multitask and switch between a variety of projects.

Fundamental understanding of basic system development methodologies.

Solid understanding of relational database concepts.

Solid understanding of Force.com governorrsquos limitations and knowledge of working around them.

Proficient in writing unit test that achieve near 100 coverage.

Understands Object Oriented Programming concepts.

Education and Experience Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience required.

3 years of programming experience working with web based applications.

1 years of experience on the Force.com platform (s-controls, Visualforce pages, custom components, Apex controllers and triggers).

Web programming experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Experienced in writing and scheduling batch Apex jobs.

Experienced in integrating with third party JavaScript APIs such as Google Maps.

Development experience with JavaScript libraries such as YUI23, jQuery and jQuery Mobile.

Development and deployment experience with Eclipse and the Force.com plug in.

PMI certification is preferred.
