Position Details Long Classification Title Information Technologist IV Campus Location Durham Department UNH CRM Tools Summary of Position This position will design, implement, and support data integration solutions related to Salesforce and associated systems for the University System of New Hampshire. In this role, this position will serve as an application administrator and design data integration solutions, systems, and processes to support the needs of our business users and will maintain the technical components of data feeds and related applications. Responsibilities include data extraction and integration, data transformation, automation of processes, security design and implementation, system administration and maintenance, upgrades, and documentation. This position will work under the Director of Enterprise CRM Services and will work closely with colleagues in the Enterprise Technology & Services organization. Posting Number PS2920FY22 Other minimum qualifications Bachelor’s degree and six years of experience in information technology field, Master’s and four years, or combination of education and experience equal to ten years.Experience synchronizing data with external systems using data integration tools such as Informatica, Dell Boomi, Axiom and/or writing API calls, scheduling and automation of processes.Strong data management skills required, including experience with data consolidation and de-duplication. Experience with data migration, third-party deduplication tools, and ETL required. Proven experience designing data mappings and transforming data.Database skills and strong knowledge of database structure and relationships.Experience with security design and configuration, testing and assuring data integrity. Experience in applying best practices through all phases of the project lifecycle. Strong attention to detail.Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Proven ability to design, optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems. Experience writing technical and end user documentation, including scopes of work, specifications, and documents representing the functional needs of end-users on technical projects.Demonstrable experience troubleshooting complex technical issues.Proven ability to successfully juggle multiple projects, deliverables, and deadlines at once. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups, such as executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Ability to facilitate complex discussions. Additional Preferred Qualifications Salesforce experience preferred, including understanding of Salesforce standard data architecture, and providing technical support for Salesforce implementations. Experience deploying solutions in a Higher Education environment. Salesforce Administration Certification(s). Experience with TargetX, Demand Tools, and Master Data Management tools.Experience in the facilitation of requirements gathering sessions.Experience in project management.Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Implement/Execute data solutions including data management strategies, data migrations, and data cleansing.Analyze and recommend data modeling, mapping, normalization strategy, and design improvements.Execute data migrations and data quality efforts focused on completeness, standardization, and deduplication.Oversight and monitoring of all ETL processes in and out of CRM system and associated cloud architectures. Establish processes, procedures, and norms for moving data into/out of Salesforce and into other repositories. Use software development life cycle and change management best practices. Perform routine to moderately complex data analysis for planning and auditing data flows. Assist in the development of systems architecture and business processes to leverage integrated data platforms and promote data integration standards and best practices.Design and execute detailed test plans to ensure the highest possible quality of deliverables.
