Salesforce Adminsitrator
The Salesforce Administrator will provide operational and application support to the organization, including application administration, documentation and training, and business reporting/dashboards. The ideal candidate will be a strong critical thinker, analytical and detailed oriented, with the ability to quickly learn new software tools, solve problems on the fly, and find inefficiencies in business processes. This individual should enjoy rolling up their sleeves and diving into data, gleaning insights, and providing strategic recommendations for new tools, processes, reports, etc.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up new users, manage user security and access.
- Work closely with stakeholders and business analysts to translate needs into technical solutions
- Participate in business and process reviews as a Salesforce subject matter expert
- Join the team in developing and maintaining proper documentation of Salesforce configuration and development efforts
- Assist our stakeholders with developing training materials and delivering training as required
- Gain a solid understanding of Tremco’s businesses
- Learn Tremco Salesforce environment and customizations
Maintain System, Security, and Integrity:
- Reassign accounts, contacts, and opportunities in response to personal changes
- Grant/remove and maintain user licenses
- Ensure data quality by using best practices to migrate data from outside systems
- Stay up to date on all new Salesforce releases, enhancements, and integrations
Data Quality, Migration and Maintenance:
- Assist with migration from older systems/processes into Salesforce
- Import data as instructed, manage duplicate records, monitor, and improve data quality
- Ensure data integrity by merging duplicate Leads, Contacts, and Accounts; performing mass uploads and updates of data as required; Auditing and remove unnecessary fields and data upon guidance of supervisor; ensuring screens, fields and workflow have accurate names and reflect current workflow
Report and Dashboard Creation and Maintenance:
- Create and maintain dashboards folder maintenance upon guidance of supervisor or project requirements
- Build and manage report folders to improve sales efficiency upon guidance of supervisor
Service Ticket Responsibilities:
- Support the user base by providing timely and accurate responses to support tickets through the Salesforce Service Console
- Maintain Tremco standard response rates to outstanding issues
Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Technology or Business-related field preferred, not required
- Exceptional communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members
- Moderately to highly complex analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- One or more current Administrator Salesforce.com certifications preferred
- Deep understanding of general CRM architecture as well as Salesforce process defaults and data structures
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and projects
- Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to build and read pivot tables, complete v-lookups, and basic formulas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
