Remote Senior Software Engineer – Shopify, React, Node

We provide deep insights across the customer lifecycle without custom engineering or added plugins, and are able to bring a holistic view of customers to our clients.
What You Will Be Doing
Seeks other senior engineers to implement best practices to solving complex technical issues
Proactively seeks new tools and frameworks that can improve company products
Works towards optimizing dynamics between departments teams continuously
Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms
Provides clear communication of own needs and requirements to optimize productivity
Provides pre-grooming technical guidance in estimating work in complexity and time
Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions
Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices
Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites
Design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies
Test software development methodology in an agile environment
What You Need for this Position
Strong background in JavaScript development using NodeJS and ReactJS
Experience working with the Shopify ecosystem and theming
Familiar with Java, Ruby or Go (Bonus Points for PHP development)
Strong knowledge of engineering and development principles and best practices
Solid knowledge of modern development tools and frameworks
Good communication skills and organization skills
Can handle execution and prioritization of complex features without supervision
Is able to coordinate a group of complex tasks with other people
