Remote QA Automation Test Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce’s client, a growing Nationwide Technology Company in Denver, CO is seeking a Remote hands-on QA Automation Test Engineering Manager for a small QA Team that is growing. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. The company offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, annual bonus, benefits, PTO, 401K matching, etc. This position is 100% Remote. Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement test plans, procedures, scenarios, and scripts to accurately assess new products or software updates according to customer requirements
• Will lead quality assurance (QA) efforts of the team
• Develop testing strategy for various aspects, such as usability, database impact, error and bug finding, regression testing
• Will be involved with a QA Teams that handles unit, integration, functional, and user-interface (UI) testing
• End-to-end testing for our members experience spanning commerce front-end, members apps (web & mobile), partners app and also including quite a bit of base platform engineering (things like identity, subscriptions, entitlements, invitations, etc.)
• Identify, problems that appear during testing, such as software defects, bugs, functionality issues, and output errors, and work directly with software developers to find solutions and develop retesting procedures
• Track problems, resolutions, and bug fixes throughout testing and create a comprehensive database of defects and successful mitigation techniques
• Create detailed, step-by-step documentation of test procedures for each phase or project as needed to ensure replicability, compliance with standards, and growth of company knowledge base
• Communicate clearly and effectively with test personnel, users, developers, and clients to facilitate quick resolution of problems and accurate documentation of successes

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• A minimum of 7-10+years of relevant work experience in the testing of Web based applications, Rest API’s, Mobile apps, etc.
• Experience automating a test suite in a modern CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous delivery) stack, along with code coverage and processes is preferred
• Strong experience in developing automated tests
• An understanding of Microservices is preferred
• Strong experience leading test teams
• Strong experience in different types of tests (unit testing, integration testing, smoke testing, end-to-end user story testing, etc.)
• Excellent time-management skills and commitment to meet deadlines
• Experience with web technologies spanning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and/or related technologies
• Experience with relational database technology (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, or equivalent)
• Experience with UI testing tools, such as Selenium or Appium

Preferred:

• Proficiency with .Net core framework
• Experience developing automation frameworks in C#
• Experience in the testing of Mobile applications
• Experience with Redux
• Well-rounded experience with multiple operating systems, virtualization technologies, and test environments
