– (Covid-19) Our client is looking for a Senior Release Manager to work in a fast paced, mutilfaceted environment for the Companies CORE product.
There are over 200 ppl involved in the application from all areas of the organization.
This successful person will need to be calm under pressure, have the ability to work with everyone toward successful releases of the product.
The group has recenty moved to an Agile environment (SAFe), but continues to move off of Waterfall and are not fully Agile Yet.
The goal is be able to release versions of the application within 5 minutes if needed, but currently the group is not there, more like 1 a month currently.
The business and Customers need access to this application and near real time updates are expected in the future.
The succesful candidate will have experience with.
Release Manager experience with Large Applications involving mutliple streams.
Agile Best Practices, DevOps, versioning CICD and exerience with GitHUB, Jenkins, BitBucket, etc Be able to deal with flat files and Batch processes with the goal of becoming more Agilemodernized.
Release Management experience within an environment that includes CloudAWS components The applications are currently Mainframe systems that are undergoing Modernization activities and consolidation from 3 disparate systems, down to 1 eventually.
Must have experience developing release strategies related to multi faceted applications, incl (DB, MicroServices, API”s, SQL, Tuning, and then eventually other areas willl begin to layer on top in terms of Production releases (Ex.
IVR Telecomm functions) 6 months to Perm opportunity THis role is very much about skills and personalitydrive Start ASAP Will require at least 3 days away from Boston for the intiial stages to develop relationships (Client will pay for your stay) then 2 days in Boston
– which will eventually be all Boston based once integrated into the team.
Mentor Automation resources involved in the project.
