Job Description:

This candidate should have knowledge of full system life cycles and an understanding of the required quality assurance practices and tools. Automated or manual testing experience in the web and client-server environments is a must. They should also have experience in writing test cases, test plans, structured test methodology, and use cases and have development experience in test scripts and execution and reporting. They will be responsible for planning, executing, controlling, and closing the testing deliverables for a project or projects.

Main Responsibilities:

• Understands the overall environment – make-up of the organization and interdependencies as it relates to moving change through the lifecycle
• Understands how the different functional areas fit together and how work and projects get done
• Understands the BRD (Business Requirements Document) and FR (Functional Requirements) process, as well as working with User Stories and related tracking methods
• Develops and maintains the test plan
• Manages testing communications for all project work assigned
• Manages the testing tasks and deliverables
• Completes the test status report
• Documents and manages project issues, clarifications, and defects
• Identifies and communicates project risks proactively
• Manages the test plan for risk mitigation and contingencies
• Escalates problems as necessary
• Collaborates with project team members, creates required test documents
• Assists in analyzing, dispositioning, and assigning post-production defects
• Participates in lessons learned and sees the project to completion
• Follows established methodology, processes, and templates within the CMO

Key Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in UAT Testing
• 1+ years of integrated services testing experience
• Ability to work in a collaborative, agile workspace

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of mortgage industry experience
• 1+ years of correspondent lending experience
• 1+ years of business analyst experience
