Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will develop and execute automated tests as well as create test scripts to ensure product quality as a member of the Quality Assurance team.

This role will be responsible for designing and executing the automation testing framework and processes.

This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement automation test scenarios.
• Design, develop, and maintain testing automation framework
• Develop detailed automated tests from test plans, test cases, and requirements
• Develop and maintain test automation jobs on continuous integration and deployment
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests, generation of test data, and corresponding reports
• Support teams on setup and maintenance of test environments and infrastructure
• Leads in planning, scheduling, and implementing automation projects
• Monitors automation projects and ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget
• Performs evaluation of products and systems and determines candidates for automation
• Analyzes scripts and performs code reviews of automated scripts
• Provides updates on automation progress and custom reporting as requested
• Develops automation strategies that will enhance test execution, manual test coverage.

and the consistency of regression testingBachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university preferred and 8+ years’ IT work experience.

Additional experience required:
• 5 years in a Test Automation role; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated problem solving, negotiating, conflict management and decision-making skills
• Experience translating business requirements into system/technical requirements and test cases, including ability to understand technical specifications such as API specs and other technical documentation
• Experience implementing and supporting business process and requirements analysis and QA activities with the use of tools QA and process mapping tools
• Knowledge and experience with Tricentis – Tosca Automation tool
• Experience with Automation scripting tools (e.g., Selenium)
• Experience with Quality Assurance Management tools (e.g., HP ALM QC, Tricentis, etc.)
• eCommerce experience
• Experience creating Quality Assurance documentation
• Experience analyzing requirements
