RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client that is seeking an Enterprise IT Operations Manager to join our team and support our client in Rockville, MD.

Summary: The Enterprise IT Operations Manager reports to the portfolio director and provides day-to-day management to meet all contractual technical, schedule, and cost requirements of a large operations and maintenance infrastructure and security services government contract.

The IT Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring all contractual SLAs are achieved and consistent service delivery and incident response functions are provided.

This position will serve as the lead client focal point for all operational and technical matters and will work closely with Technical Managers for the Server, System, Network, and Security Operations teams in the delivery of services operations, in a 24x7x365 environment.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned IT program manager with a broad technical background and strong client delivery skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead a cross-functional IT Operations team including Windows, Linux, cloud, storage, voice, network, application, database, and security environments Provide tactical leadership and direct support in the day-to-day operations of contractual technical task areas Participate in planning, technical review, and operational support considerations for new infrastructure hardware and operating systems Diagnose, triage and resolve complex problems and escalate issues to senior management Participate in daily operational review meetings and other task area status meetings, as required Apply industry best practices and ITIL framework methodology to manage operational topics, issues, and transitions Coordinate escalation of critical issues to appropriate technical resources and/or vendors Must be able to translate customer requirements into technical requirements that the Operations Team can execute Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: Requires BA/BS with 10-12 years of experience with at least 4 years of management level responsibility PMP Certification with proven program management experience required ITILv3 Foundations Certification Experience in delivery, management, contracts growth, and personnel management Must be able to prioritize constantly changing requirements from the client and operations staff Must be able to engage with the customer to remove barriers quickly and effectively Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Willing to assist and support the team with evolving requirements and objectives Interface with various team members, including client and internal management personnel Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency Must be resourceful and respond with urgency to a wide variety of topics Customer service driven and strong problem-solving and results focused Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong mentoring and leadership skills Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
