This program supports research and development of talent management processes (e.g., recruitment, selection/hiring, promotion, classification, assignment) to improve person-job match to optimize the Air Force’s mission capability and readiness, reduce attrition, and increase retention.*** This position will be Remote Work from Home.As a Programmer you will:+ Program computerized assessments to measure things not possible with paper-and-pencil testing.+ Develop greater efficiency in the flow and availability of test data that is gathered during in selection and classification process.+ Assist psychologists in programming surveys or assessments in ways that will minimize reading and/or cognitive requirements.

+ Update and modify operational, computer-based assessments using feedback and guidance from the psychometrician to improve the quality of the assessments.+ Provide management of test item banks, and access and update supporting item statistics for availability to researcher’s, potentially automating the updating process and/or developing dashboards.+ Explore and implement the use of complex machine learning and AI methodologies as practicable.What you need:+ 5 plus years’ of experience in managing databases+ 5 plus years’ of experience in programming assessments+ 2 plus years’ of experience using R and PythonNice to have:+ Knowledge of Turbo Pascal programming language and/or experience converting legacy programs coded in Turbo Pascal to modern programming languages like R and PythonWorking at ICFWorking at ICF means applying a passion for meaningful work with intellectual rigor to help solve the leading issues of our day.
