Experience with data query and manipulation tools is required.
Qualified applicant should have knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Visual Studio Development Environment, scripting languages, web tools and client/server applications.
Application development experience utilizing a relational database environment is required with preference to Microsoft SQL Server.
Knowledge of power system, transmission and energy market concepts is beneficial.
Individual must have exceptional problem-solving skills, strong work ethic and potential supervisory qualifications.
Excellent documentation, communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with management, co-workers and client personnel in a team-based setting.
ResponsibilitiesWork with department personnel to analyze and define process and software requirements to meet the business needs of the company.
Develop, implement and maintain application software.
Design and build software interfaces.
Assist in the evaluation and selection of software products.
Implement, customize and maintain software products to meet company requirements.
Support critical applications during non-core hours.
