Principal Statistical Programmer – Remote

This is a Full-time position in Washington, DC posted February 28, 2022.

Description and Requirements

The Principal Statistical Programmer at WCG Statistics Collaborative is responsible for indirectly leading SAS programmers for multiple clinical research projects and serving as a technical resource for junior programmers.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
BS or BA required; degrees in computer science, math or sciences preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
At least Eight (8) years industry experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in using SAS to produce derived/analysis datasets and TFLs.
Demonstrated skill in generating outputs to support downstream analysis requirements, e.g., ADaM specification and datasets creation, CSR or DMC Tables, Figures and listings, Generation of Data Definition Tables for CDISC submissions
Demonstrated ability to coordinate project deliverables.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
Serve as programming lead on multiple study assignments, including coordinating programming deliverables and interfacing with internal study team and clients, as appropriate.
Contribute to the development and documentation of analysis/clinical data set specifications, safety and efficacy analysis programming, as well as any ad-hoc programming requests.
Perform quality assurance procedures on work performed by others.
Implement and follow the latest versions of CDISC, FDA guidelines, Good Clinical Practice, and other industry standards.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
