As a thought leader, the Principal Data Scientist takes an active role in advancing the Data Science practice at Vanguard, not only by executing some of the most complex and high-priority modeling and measurement projects, but also by proactively identifying and building support for projects and capabilities that will provide the greatest business impact.

In this role you will be expected to own advanced models from end to end, and make project and strategy recommendations by synthesizing a deep understanding of business functions and systems with an up-to-date understanding of what is possible in AI/ML and statistical analytics.
