SoftServe is seeking a Pre-Sales Cloud Engineer to assist Sales team by problem-solving key technical issues for our customers.
The successful candidate will have focus on AWS cloud technology and be willing to support a deal pursuit cycle together with the extended team of technical and delivery experts.
YOU ARE
You have:
Experience serving in the capacity of a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role (including working as a member of a professional services or systems engineering team).
Experience with Big Data, PaaS, and IaaS technologies.
Experience presenting and delivering technical pitches.
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
6+ months experience with Amazon Web Services Preferable to have AWS certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Machine Learning, AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS Data Analytics In 2021: Willingness to travel a minimum of 30% (please note: domestic AND international travel will be required) to customer sites, conferences, team locations and other related events.
Preferred skills:
Have fundamental skills of deploying, monitoring, and maintaining projects on AWS.
Understand networking concepts including routing, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
Have understanding of AWS cloud architecture, data processing systems, and be able to design robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions and explain how it can drive the business objectives.
Be able to analyze and optimize AWS cloud solutions from technical and business processes Have understanding of how to leverage, deploy, and continuously train pre-existing machine learning models.
Experience in and understanding of data and information management
– especially as it relates to big data trends and issues within businesses.
Experience working with EMEA and APAC regions is a plus
YOU WANT TO WORK WITH
Internal team and partners to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections and develop the strategy to resolve technical issues.
Traveling to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required.
