Description SAIC is seeking a PHP Developer for the Continuous Monitoring Program (CMP), supporting the Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic at Norfolk, VA, to develop, deliver, test, and field various software in support of CMP. REMOTE WORK option available during Covid Pandemic. SAIC will elicit requirements from the customer’s supply and financial community, then utilize secure application development, and information assurance best practices to test, field, certifyaccredit and support software. The developer under minimal direction, provides specialized expertise within multiple systems and software disciplines, and has a general knowledge of related disciplines, applications implications, and customer areas. Performs in-depth analyses and provides technical support for systems software products, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support. Assists in the planning and conversion for new software products. Maintains currency, debugs, and configures related software products. Works from specifications to develop or modify applications. Assists with design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of programs. Interfaces with other system support groups to resolve problems, set standards, and improve overall efficiency of the system. Designs, codes, tests, and implements tools for operations automation. Works on all phases of software systems programming applications. Qualifications EducationExperience Bachelor’s degree in computer science and 3+ years of expereince (4 years of equivalent expereince accepted in lieu of degree) PHP programming experience 5+ years Knowledge of SQL (experience designing tables, writing stored procedures, optimizing queries), preferred Microsoft SQL Server Additional Desired C.NET programming experience 1-3 years Sybase SQL (experience writing queries) 1-3 years’ experience Experience in other web related technologies (JQuery, Symfony, CSS, HTML) Clearance Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
