Performance Tester QA Analyst Our direct client is one of the fortune 500 companies, based out of leasanton, CA.
They are currently in urgent need of an experienced Performance Tester QA Analyst.
This is a contract position located in leasanton, CA.
Job Title Performance Tester QA Analyst Location Pleasanton, CA Duration 3 months C2H Qualifications 4 year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems or relational functional field) andor equivalent combination of education or work experience.
Must have experience in performance engineering
– designing the workload model for usage patterns and growth projections, benchmark testing, performance test automation and execution, performance analysis and tuning.
Must have hands on scripting experience with multiple protocols HTTPHTML, WinSock, AjaxTruclient, Citrix, web services etc.
using HP load runner and JMeter Must have experience with performance testing tools ndash JmeterBlazemeter, LoadRunner, APM tools
– CA Wily Introscope, Fluke, Splunk, App Dynamics, BMC Patrol HP etc.
Experience in Performance, Load, Stress and Scalability Testing for Mainframe, JAVA and .Net applications Experience in identifying performance issues within a in a distributed clientserver environment
– Load balancers, Weblogic, Database, Operating System, Network, Software (JAVA) and Hardware Experience with performance tuning including garbage collection, heap management, JVM Configuration, V table, explain plan, query optimization and other performance-associated areas.
Experience testing web services (REST or SOAP), and related technologies (SOAP, JAXB, WSDL, XML).
Strong knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems Experience partnering with Architects, Developers, Systems Engineers, Database Administrators and other business representatives to collaboratively tune systems.
Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail Experience with the full software development lifecycle and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) Ability to understand client expectations, and work effectively in a matrixed organization Ability to mentor, coach and train lower level performance engineers Self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to learn beyond formal training with a strong aptitude for d Interested in Applying?
