Do you have the broad-ranging technical enterprise skills to analyze, organize and improve the enforcement of risk controls for database ?

Do you have the technical background to develop into a Subject Matter Expert on Oracle Enterprise User Security with OID and Oracle security features?

We’re looking for an IT support analyst to bull analyze and remediate security risk issues for the firm’s Oracle database, bull setup and support databases using Oracle Enterprise User Security(EUS) with Oracle Internet Directory (OID), bull become a Subject Matter Expert in the support of OID advising, troubleshooting and formulating solutions for the wider team
– prior experience is desirable but training will be given, bull support and manage escalation of production issues in the firm’s database operation, bull develop innovative solutions to improve the reporting and enforcement of risk controls, bull contribute to the IT Audit for database.

Your team You’ll be working in the Security Risk team as part of the Database Operations function.

We provide specific focus on supporting authentication and enforcing appropriate security risk controls in the database environment.

As a Subject Matter Expert on Oracle security and OID, you’ll play an important role in maintaining reliable and effective controls.

Your expertise bull Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field bull 4 years of experience supporting Oracle production databases (11g, 12c, 18c) in a UNIX environment.

bull good understanding of Oracle Advanced Security including SSL authentication using certificate method.

bull SQLPLSQL, UNIX script, LDAP and other coding capability to develop enhanced control solutions.

bull ideally, experience of Exadata and RAC exposure to MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL or Sybase is a benefit.

bull appreciation of solid operation support principles and the importance of security risk controls.

bull ability to analyze data, formulate solutions and communicate your understanding to colleagues.

bull complex technical problem solving and document appropriate procedures for team members to follow.

bull working knowledge of Splunk is desirable.
