System One is seeking a highly motivated Nuclear Software Quality Assurance Engineer to support IT for a long-term contract in Bellevue, WA. Responsibilities Develop the Software QA policy, program description, and implementing procedures compliant with NRC RG 1.28 and applicable NIRMA Technical Guides, as well as any additional requirements necessary for nuclear software records management and pharma records management. Maintain and support the internal procedures governing the software development activities. Provides training and support to effectively implement the Software QA Program. Perform surveillances andor reviews of the software testing and release process. Participate and lead assessments. Other duties as assigned. Key Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline, engineering, business, or equivalent related work experience. 3-5 years of experience in software development, Quality Assurance, Configuration Management in a regulated environment (preferred experience with RG1.28, NIRMA Technical Guides, GAMP 5, and C.U.I.) Experience with the development andor maintenance of software requirements definition, testing, and documentation. Working knowledge of Windows (UnixLinux a plus) Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (e.g., Agile, DevonWay, Jira, Confluence) Working knowledge of software development lifecycle tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Perforce) Preferred to have experience auditing and or performing surveillances. Ability to interface with internalexternal customers to resolve quality issues. Ability to plan and implement methods for process improvement and trouble-shooting issues. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Project, and Word Strong oral and written English communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment Understanding concepts of Configuration Management. Ability to communicate clearly and maintain good working relationship with peers and Customers of all technical levels.
