Node/React Developer – 100% remote

We have a 6 month contract to hire position open for a Node/React Developer.

The position is 100% remote.

This opportunity is working on a cutting edge AWS massive multi year development project for a fortune 100 Healthcare company.

Walk me through the day to day responsibilities:
Participating in planning, development, and support of an internal web application.

This application is consumed by the internal telephony team to manage callflow configurations.

It is developed in React and node.JS.
The candidate will be expected to collaborate with their scrum master, QA testers and product owners in order to deliver a viable product.
Describe the performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team:
The individual is measured against Agile metrics incorporate into their scrum team.

The team practices SAFe Agile, and operates on 2 week sprints.
Internal/External Groups with which the Candidate will interface:

Required Skills:
React and node.JS web development experience
Familiarity with and enthusiasm for DevOps, CI/CD, and SRE best practices, as well as iterative Agile-flavored workflows
Responsible for consistent release management and good change management practices.
Participate in Agile planning meetings and daily SCRUM meetings to provide software solutions for our platform services for Content Services and CHP Platform services
Review and perform troubleshooting analysis of the core application logs.

Preferred Skills/ Experience:
Familiarity with AWS
Familiarity with creating internal administrative applications

Required Education:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent 5+ yrs Experience

Required Certifications:
None (AWS Cloud Practitioner preferred)
