6212 No Corp to Corp No Sponsorship No third party candidates considered for this position Our Client in the Grand Terrace, CA area is seeking an Network Systems Administrator for a Full Time position.

The Network Systems Administrator is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, tuning and maintenance of systems, hardware, software and related infrastructure and services.

This position manages and maintains various IT infrastructure technologies and applications by providing both proactive and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, security, administration and resolution of software and hardware issues.

The Network Systems Administrator serves as a generalist in various Network and Security platforms, as well as Microsoft platform applications such as Systems Center, SharePoint, ExchangeOutlook, SQL, Skype for Business, Office 365 and Web Server software.

This individual works closely with external vendors, business leaders and end users to ensure that systems meet the functional goals of the organization and assists in planning for future application and system needs and capacity requirements.

The Network Systems Administrator must ensure adherence with security, regulatory and best practices regarding design, configuration and use of IT system technology and, relies on his or her extensive experience, creativity and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

This position will work closely with others in the Corporate and Regional IT Departments.

Duties Coordinate and perform individual IT assignments accurately and on time with attention to detail and quality using specific standard techniques and procedures.

Deploy, monitor, and manage IT network and security systems (Wired and Wireless Local Network, Global Network, SDWAN, MPLS, Firewalls, VPN, Log Correlation, IDSIDP, etc.) and ensure their effective and proper use.

Deploy, monitor, and manage IT infrastructure systems and services (physical and virtual servers, storage systems, backups systems, active directory, domain services, monitoring systems, messaging and collaboration systems, network systems, etc.), while adhering to standards and operational requirements.

Help ensure the protection and confidentiality of Client information assets by implementing and maintaining information security devices and solutions in close adherence to security best practices and standards.

Administration and ongoing systems performance tuning of Windows and Linux servers and infrastructure applications in standalone or clustered mode.

Regularly review and apply software, configuration, application and management tool upgrades and patches to assure performance, stability and security.

Analyze, troubleshoot, repair and recover from IT infrastructure service interruptions.

Analyze and assess IT infrastructure architecture requirements to determine and recommend optimum cost-effective solutions and perform periodic capacity planning.

Create and maintain IT infrastructure procedures, inventories, diagrams and documentation.

Solve high level technical system problems quickly, accurately and automate processes wherever appropriate.

Identify, investigates and recommend improvements in products, systems and processes and conducts engineering and systems analysis and experimentation to analyze applications and explore alternatives.

Build and maintain strong relationships with IT colleagues, business leads, and strategic infrastructure vendors.

Install, manage and support enterprise level voice and collaboration systems and components.

Ensure ticket and project documentation is updated for all support requests and projects.

Report status of tasks and projects to IT management weekly, ensuring prioritization and work coverage.

Document resolution of service requests in sufficient detail to provide an accurate account of actions performed, and to provide knowledge base for future similar incidents or requests.

Assess and report on key performance indicators of network and security infrastructure Experience required Working knowledge of Firewalls, MPLS, VPN, Metro-E, WAN, and SD-WAN technologies.

Working knowledge of DHCP, DNS, SNMP, SMTP, BGP protocols Windows Server administration, standalone and clustered Wired and Wireless LAN infrastructure implementation and management Mobile Device Management (MDM) administration Digital application deployment and support Experience with multi-factor authentication implementation and support Microsoft System Center Suite administration, 2012 or higher Practical knowledge of networking concepts.
