Network & Small System Technician

NETWORK & SMALL SYSTEM TECHNICIAN Full-time: Monday
– Friday (Overtime may be required) Position location: Mattress Warehouse, 4949 New Design Rd, Frederick MD MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE WITH A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Install and customize small systems: PCs, thin clients, phones, peripherals, APs, switches Configure, distribute and manage the technology within stores (including opening and decommissioning) Monitor and resolve problems with existing devises across the company Provide technical Help Desk services for Windows, MS Office and other applications to local and remote user community as needed
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
2-5 years of small systems experience, with an emphasis on installing, fixing PCs for Windows users At least a high school diploma or equivalent formal training in subjects related to this position Familiarity with recent Windows and MS Office versions Prior experience installing/troubleshooting different types of devices Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees and vendors Excellent problem-solving skills Willingness to work during non-business hours as required Good time management skills across multiple priorities Able to work independently and work well with others
