An employer is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team in Boston, MA.
This network engineer will be responsible for maintaining the network and firewall environment.
This person would be responsible for: configuring HP/Dell routers and switches, administering the firewall environment (Checkpoint), updating firewall policy requests, setting up new VPNs, and troubleshooting any changes or break/fix issues to the network.
This is a fast paced, quick changing, as well large and complex environment, so this team is looking for an engineer that can thrive in that kind of environment.
This is a team of four engineers who are very collaborative and work as a team, so the ideal candidate would also be someone willing to handle network related tasks outside of the project they are working on.
The candidate must be willing to be part of an on-call rotation every four weeks starting after a couple of months on
the job.
