.Net Development Manager

We are looking for a Application Development Manager responsible for directing and managing the activities of a team of developers involved in the design, development, deployment, and support of core IT systems.

This position manages the software and database development cycle for customizations, regulatory compliance, business rules and formats and project plans.

The environment is predominantly utilizing Microsoft tools, C, ASP.Net, VB.Net, and SQL Server.

The position is primarily responsible for supporting and developing scalable and reliable C and NET web-based applications.

Ideal candidates should have experience supporting production, web based applications.

This is an ideal position for someone who has been a Project Manager and is interested being the “go to” person and leading a team of developers and providing strategic direction.

Responsibilities Directs and manages a continuous improvement program to improve quality, consistency, and client satisfaction Ensures compliance with the established software development methodology Software Development Life Cycle (SLDC) for these projects Develops and submits staffing, operations and capital budgets aligned with organizational goals Ensures adherence to testing plans and change management policy for areas of responsibility Conduct application code and SQL reviews to ensure compliance with application development best practices Establishes technology project plan for updates, upgrades and application implementation for areas of responsibility Design and implementation of multiple client-side web applications, which integrate into enterprise software architecture Implementing well-architected, well-documented, high-quality code at a fast pace Moving quickly between varied engineering tasks in a small team Interaction with software, hardware, quality, marketing and other departments Developing a clear understanding of the big picture and customerinternal requirements Occasional client facing Requirements 8 years of application development leadership experience Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment Ability to organize, prioritize and schedule work assignments Excellent verbal, written and group presentation skills Team building and conflict resolution skills Strong ability to resolve complex problems and issues.

Delegate and assign activities with clear timelines Ability to develop and manage project plans, estimates and implementations Knowledge of IT service management principles (ITIL Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Ability to organize, prioritize and schedule work assignments Excellent verbal, written and group presentation skills Team building and conflict resolution skills Strong ability to resolve complex problems and issues.
