This MVC Web Developer role from Robert Half Technology will bring together your understanding of software and applications programming and industry requirements and your desire to create and define systems scope and objectives. In this role, you would provide recommendations for developing or modifying applications or databases, using research and fact-finding. Based in east Hillsborough County area, this is a full time Programmer Analyst employment opportunity you do not want to miss.

Your responsibilities in this role

– Trains and assists end users and other partner groups for a particular application, system or process, on an ongoing basis

– Collaborates on establishing communication materials for specific system changes being implemented in production

– Guides internal clients on applications, systems and/or processes for identifying and resolving, processing/reporting programming problems. Provides consultation through troubleshooting and/or education

– Creates dictionaries for applications and systems support by the analyst, and manages updates to maintain them

– Analyzes and documents issues. Works with other programmers to correct code problems

– Evaluates methods of processing. Makes suggestions for improvements

– Build and assess programming changes for every phase of systems development prior to implementation. Record test cases and expected results. Ensure results meet requirements. May develop basic tests or a defined subset of a larger system test. May make suggestions regarding acceptance/rejection if not all requirements are met

– Reviews user requests for changes or improvements to systems. Records functional requirements and analyzes cost, feasibility and utility. Makes suggestions regarding how, when and whether to make the changes

Job Requirements:
– General knowledge of mainframe hardware/software and PC operations required

– Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills

– Database development experience

– Comprehensive knowledge of Object Oriented Development

– Foundational knowledge in Business Logic

– JavaScript experience highly desired

– Knowledge of MVC Framework

– Previous experience as a project leader for the business portion of developmental applications or major systems improvements

– Good working understanding of programming languages

– Proven success acting in a project management capacity
