We have an opening for a Mobile Application Developer in our Chicago, IL office.

As a member of BISSELLs Digital Strategy team, you will work to enhance existing and create exciting new mobile applications across multiple product lines here at BISSELL.

Were looking for people with an entrepreneurial spirit and an interest in creating and testing new ideas to help blaze new paths and lead new strategies on a growing global team.

This role will focus on front-end development and customer UX with the Mobile applications.

Youll work alongside business stakeholders, visual designers, UX architects, technical leads, QA analysts, and application architects in a collaborative environment to iteratively deliver solutions on time and on budget.

You will leverage the latest front-end technologies, tools, and frameworks to produce UIs that push industry standards for accessibility, usability, and performance.

If youve worked on growing mobile development teams in a rapidly moving and ever-changing environment, we would love to learn more about you RUNNING WITH THE BIG DOGS: Works on the Mobile team leveraging latest front-end technologies, tools, and frameworks to produce quality products Write high quality code that is performant, reusable, and secure while adhering to industry best practices Documents coding standards and best practices Works with key stakeholders to establish and adopt architectural best practices, guidelines, and standards for Mobile Implements and improves Mobile DevOps process Participate in design specifications of assigned projects and may lead in implementation DESIGNED TO SUCCEED: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar degree program 3 years experience with front end mobile app development Aptitude and eagerness to learn Deep understanding and experience of interactive web & mobile technologies JavaScript, CSS and HTML5 Experience wit React Native, iOS and/or Android Experience with Native Mobile languages Java/Kotlin and/or Objective-C/Swift Experience with Apple and Google app store release process Experience with Internet of Things (IoT) and mobile Experience with monitoring tools eg: Dynatrace Experience with Mobile analytic tools eg: Adobe Suite Web test automation experience Experience working with internal and external APIs Knowledge of latest trends, concepts and best practices in mobile technology Exposure to collaborative engineering methodologies: agile, code reviews, linting, continuous integration, cloud deployments, etc.
