Middleware Administrator Woodland Hills, CA 6 Months Contract
– Production support 24×7.
– Serve as subject matter expert on IBM MQIIB, includes technical assistance to application developers on Middleware related problems.
– Troubleshoot production issues application developers can’t resolve may include writing build and deployment scripts.
– Support production implementations.
– Assess and make recommendations of best-practice solutions andor new middleware and web technologies that will enhance the capabilities of the existing infrastructure.
– Work with other teams to improve security, performance, back-up strategies and disaster recovery plans.
– Coordinating installs and testing with the application teams, configures environments.
This includes patches, fix packs and version upgrades.
– Monitoring
– monitor middleware performance and availability.
– Ensure high-availability support for middleware systems.
– Capacity planning
– ensuring load balancing and clustering are optimized.
