Manager, Software Engineering – Revenue Systems Operations

We are looking for an Engineering manager for our Revenue Systems Operations team, which creates, updates, and monitors global revenue collection processes.

The team ensures that the billing and payments processes complete on time, with high quality and full visibility to users and business stakeholders. 

As a Software Engineering Manager at Indeed you will provide hands-on leadership for a team supporting end-to-end billing and payments solutions in our service-oriented, highly scalable, multi-datacenter environment.

Who You Are

Worked on automating and monitoring billing and payment processes in a high volume e-commerce or B2B environment. 

Requirements 

• BS in Computer Science or related area, or relevant work experience

• 7+ years of Billing or Payments Systems Experience

• 5+ years of experience in an Engineering Operations role, which includes monitoring of batch jobs and continuous process improvements

• Significant prior success as an Engineering Manager (3+ direct reports) working on challenging problems

• Experience with business processes management and monitoring

• Experience with release management

• Highly collaborative, able to work with business users, operations teams, and product engineering team members

• Strong communication skills and ability to influence colleagues and executives

• Proven track record of building high performing teams and delivering on operations SLAs and KPIs

• Outstanding data analysis skills

• Experience with service-oriented and event-driven system architectures

• Strong ability to coach developers, helping them improve their skills and grow their careers
