The work involves managing a team responsible for automating product deployment to ensure availability, scalability, performance, and security while optimizing for cost.

We are looking for a Development Team Manager, who will lead a distributed team that is developing features and capabilities within our PingOne Advanced Services platform.

We require a passionate manager who flourishes in an agile environment, and has experience managing teams to create products that not only meet strategic and market goals, but also our standards for quality, security, testability and performance.

You will report to the Development Director for PingOne Advanced Services.

You Will:

• Coach individuals and teams; provide career planning guidance and opportunities.

  Plan for and recruit staff.

• Provide consistent and immediate feedback on personal and team performance.
• Provide vision and leadership to ensure the team understands company, department and project goals to which they will contribute.
• Plan and estimate upcoming work.
• Monitor work through the process to ensure it is complete and consistent with product requirements and criteria for release.
• Work with team and Product Management to adjust tasking, prioritization, and scope to achieve project goals.
• Work with team to enhance existing processes, practices and technologies to improve team effectiveness and product quality.
• Lead 1-2 teams of agile software engineering.

You Have:

• Bachelors degree in technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years experience managing people, including career development and mentoring to improve personal and team effectiveness.
• 3+ years experience acting as a Scrum Master, including running scrums and working with Product Manager and Product Owners to manage epics, stories and tasks for a distributed team.
• Experience within an Agile Software delivery environment.
• Experience delivering projects on time and meeting all quality, security and performance criteria.
• Experience setting team vision and guiding teams to achieve their mission.
• Experience defining strategy to achieve the mission, and planning to achieve that strategy.
