**100% Remote**

Our client, a leader in their industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced project and people manager to serve in a full-time, fully remote capacity as Manager of Data Science.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities of the Manager of Data Science:

• Motivate and mentor team of data scientists/modelers to build skills and careers
• Leverage in-depth technical knowledge and leadership skills to drive the development of data science solutions
• Oversee model validation and model risk governance function
• Participate in cross-functional project teams as SME in the development of credit risk models

Requirements of the Manager of Data Science:

• Advanced degree in quantitative fields
• At least 5 years of experience in modeling and data science
• At least 2 years of experience in people and project management
• Advanced experience with regression models and machine learning
• Advanced statistics software
  – Python, R, SAS, etc.
• Experience handling large datasets with SQL
