• Minimum of a few years of experience in a management / lead capacity Position Summary: Our client is looking for an experienced Manager who can independently lead the design and implementation of technology solutions, an integral part of the company products, services and success.

This position will manage a team of technical analysts, application developers, RPA developers, BI Specialists and EDI analysts, reporting to the VP, MIS.

This position will assist in developing and implementing the technical strategy, the development methodology and the necessary IT operational procedures to sustain a reliable set of production systems.

This is a hands on, technical position that will have development responsibilities while leading a team of technicians developing new system features while maintaining and supporting existing applications.

Candidates must be self-starters with a strong development background.

As the leader of the technology and solutions delivery team, this individual will be responsible for the planning and delivery of appropriate and cost effective solutions that meets user needs, time and budget guidelines.

The candidate will work with system, product and third party support vendors to ensure products and services meet all technical, functional and performance needs.

The role includes negotiation of pricing and contract terms, SLA’s and penalties for unacceptable product, service and support quality.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing the technology strategy for the organization
• Review requirements and determine technical design and implementation alternatives
• Monitor system deployment and maintenance for impacts to production support
• Partner with enterprise development team to ensure the solution design is appropriately aligned to satisfy user needs and meet standards using best practices
• Manage the corporate reporting and business intelligence platform
• Responsible for department’s technologies including EDI generation tools, RPA tool suite, Microsoft desktop tool suite, and open source technologies
• Manage EDI processes and custom data intake and delivery processes
• Support and maintain production environments and applications, including monitoring system, applications uptime and performance and minimize downtime
• Research and implement technical tools needed to optimize the business processes and workflows
• Implement development guidelines and processes including coding standards, documentation and audit trail, code maintenance, peer reviews and check-in/checkout procedures
• Strong team emphasis and relationship building skills; create effective partnerships with business, shared services and other IT support areas
• Mentor, coach and provide technical guidance ensuring team is successful to deliver quality products Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, MBA a plus
• 8-10 years of progressive broad-based information systems experience
• 2 years of management/supervisory experience in application implementation and production support required
• Experience working in SQL Server environments with strong SQL Server development skills
• Hands-on experience with many disparate technologies, ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems.

Strong technical skills with demonstrated experience in SQL, Python, Qlikview, MS Access, VB, Business Intelligence and Analytics Tools Scripting
• Use of software tools to prototype data structures, process and system functionality (screens, reports, audit logs), data validation and storage logic
• Capable of providing time estimates and preparing design documents, developing, coding and testing
• Experience with (SDLC) software methodologies such as Scrum/Agile, certification a plus
• Good understanding of Project Management Principles, certification preferred
• Strong familiarity with Machine Learning, Big Data and Deep learning
• Strong desktop computing skills using Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, Access, Visio, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
