A global proprietary trading firm is seeking a hands-on Lead Test Automation Engineer to collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement best testing/automation practices for their firm. You will be given the autonomy to design and implement comprehensive architecture for automated testing frameworks. If this sounds like something you or someone you know could be interested in, please don’t hesitate to apply in!As a Lead Test Automation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:Designing and developing an automation testing frameworkImplementing a compressive regression and Continuous Integration (CI) test suiteReviewing test cases to assess technical risk and complianceAssisting in reproducing defects and performing test gap analysisWhat You’ll Need BS in Computer Science or another STEM-related field7+ years of experience in test automation within a financial services environment requiredDemonstrated experience creating and implementing a state-of-the-art testing framework requiredProven experience in test plan design and execution requiredProficient in stress and performance testing methodologies and common testing libraries/frameworks requiredStrong programming experience in Python requiredExperience with Network programming (TCP/UDP, Multi-cast, etc.) and IPCExperience with FIX and other exchange APIs, building exchange API simulators, and BDD/TDD processes
