The Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) focus is to provide engineering, technical and programmatic support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors (PEO IWS 2.0) Directorate. Efforts include overarching program management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, operations analysis, systems integration, international, cyber security, IT network and programmatic support for over 25 PEO IWS 2.0 advanced radar, phased array radar, electronic warfare, electro-optic, advanced off-board electronic warfare/decoy and directed energy programs. IWSG staff support a variety of tasks including support and completion of major technical reviews; producing required acquisition documentation; performing radar performance analysis; managing program needs and external requirements; and ensuring the right resources are provided to the right priorities at the right time. This full-range of support services allows our customers to successfully award, execute, and manage new and existing contracts in a timely manner, enabling the development and delivery of highly capable and reliable systems to the Fleet on time and within budget. Regular travel (~5-10%) may be required in this position. #CJ #IN123 Responsibilities SPA is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to provide direct Engineering Support Services (ESS) to the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors & Lasers Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0). You will directly support the Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) Lead System Engineer (LSE). You will support the LSE in a broad range of responsibilities including developing and updating requirements, tracking system performance issues and resolution, and coordinating the systems engineering (SE) team deliverables. You will be expected to provide sound advice, recommendations, and solutions to emerging SE issues and topics. You will coordinate the Advanced Radars Local Configuration Control Board (LCCB) ensuring programmatic Configuration Management Process is operating according to DoD standards. A successful candidate will provide liaison support independently representing AMDR to stakeholders across government and industry. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other related technical degree * At least 2 years of relevant Pro gram Office experience * DoD Secret security clearance, and the ability to maintain it Desired * Master’s of Science degree in an Engineering discipline * Radar experience * Project Management Professional (PMP) certified * At least 5 years of engineering experience
