Description:
Our client is seeking a cloud automation engineer to build state-of-the-art, cloud-native infrastructure for an R&D focused customer.
Successful candidates will be independent, curious and passionate about building cutting edge technology.
Writing a cloud orchestration framework combining multiple cloud platforms utilizing a combination of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), as well as python to manage the cloud environments.
High visibility role that will include regular interaction with key stakeholders to deliver promised functionality.
The engineer will have autonomy in design and architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Writing IaC that can be managed centrally utilizing python.
The engineer will ensure that the deployed infrastructure meets customer requirements and costs.
Familiarity with writing enterprise style python will be helpful.
Required Qualifications:
- Infrastructure as Code
- Code repository (git, bitbucket, gitlab)
Desired Skills:
- HashiCorp Infrastructure Automation Certification
- Python implementation of database abstraction layers, loosely coupled interfaces, and model view controllers
- Cloud Developer and/or Solution Architect certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure
