Description: Job Title: Lead, Electrical Systems Engineer Job Code: SAS20211210-70745 Job Location: Fort Wayne, INJob Description:This position will be a technical lead for electrical subsystems within the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) Segment of L3Harris.

This team, located in the Ft.

Wayne, IN facility, designs, builds, integrates, and tests electro-optical imaging payloads.

These instruments contain complex analog, power, digital, and FPGA electronics.

Responsibilities will include electrical system architecture, system requirement definition, technical documentation development, requirement verification, and leading electrical technical teams.

This position will also assist the Project Manager/IPT Lead in giving technical customer presentations and insuring schedule and budget objectives are met.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university9+ years of relevant electrical engineering experienceElectrical system design experienceExperience allocating system level requirements to applicable sub-systems and componentsHands-on root-cause troubleshooting experienceTechnical specification and Interface Control Document generation experiencePreferred Additional Skills:TS/SCI clearanceAbility to travel occasionally, < 10%, to customer and vendor sitesPresentation generation and delivery experienceAnalog & digital design experienceFPGA design experienceCircuit design experienceSpace electronics design experienceCost and schedule management experienceExperience performing risk analysis and developing risk mitigation plansDesign experience related to cross-strapping and single point failure eliminationMentoring other electrical system engineersExperience defining grounding and shielding architecture to satisfy EMI and EMC requirementsExperience in designing electrical systems, circuits, and sub-system components that include radiation hardening and survivability techniques and implementations
