Java Software Engineer

Java Software Engineer Looking for a strong Java developer with experience in Struts2, Hibernate, Tomcat, and JavaScript.

Will be involved in building a Credit Card based VoIP platform using Asterisk across multiple data-centers.

The candidate we are seeking for this position will design and develop multi-tiered applications that take advantage of our Financial and VoIP telecommunications infrastructure.

You will be involved with the entire software development life-cycle so we are seeking someone with solid, real experience in Java application programming.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop web applications, micro-services, and batch applications, primarily in Java.

Work directly with senior management and our engineering teams to gather requirements, analyze technical feasibility and implement web-enabled telecommunication applications.

Implement and integrate user-interfaces with complex information and functionality while making the experience user-friendly.

JOB REQUIREMENTS A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or software related fields.

3 years of software development experience.

Hands-on experience and expert skills with Java, Struts2, and Hibernate.

Proficient in Java streams, Java generics and other new features.

Hands-on experience in developing responsive web applications with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS.

Experience in open source JavaScript libraries like jQuery and Bootstrap is a plus.

Experience with using tools like flutter to build iOS and Android applications is a plus.

Prefer database experience with MySQL and MongoDB services Source control experience using GIT.

Experience in integration with cloud solutions like AWS is a plus.

Experience in Spring SpringBoot is a plus.

Experience with an APM system (i.e.

Glowroot) is a plus.

Experience with Linux (CentOS) is a plus.

Experience with a scalable solution (i.e.

creating a cluster of web servers and MySQL servers or deploying to cloud infrastructure).

Experience in website layout design for high-volume, telecommunications, transactional or e-commerce oriented sites.
