Role Title Java Developer Responsibilities Build and Consume Restful and SOAP web services Required Skills Knowledge of the J2EE framework and design patterns as well as EJB, web services Proficient with Javascript, CSS, HTML, and JQuery Experience with Eclipse, IBM RAD or similar Proficient with Websphere application servers or equal Experience in using version control systems like CA-SCM or SVN or CVS or Bit Bucket Ability to perform code reviews and automate reviews Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) Strong debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills Strong knowledge of service-oriented architectures (SOA) Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary Candidate should be an initiator, self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills Ability to understand methodologies and tools used for delivery and display a passion to follow and devise processes for improving quality Experience using Atlassian ALM tools (Jira, Bit-Bucket, Bamboo, Fish-Eye, Crucible) preferred Experience working with Restful web services include hands-on experience or PostMan or Advanced Rest Client.
