The Network Engineer – Silverpeak SD-WAN – Remote is responsible deploying and supporting hardware, network and telecommunications projects for the organization.

Provides support for routers, switches, firewalls, VPN’s and IP telephony, systems, servers, and other infrastructure equipment (hardware).

Develop, implement, and support network security policies, and safeguards.

This position is part of the IT Global Operation & Infrastructure team and will be located in Sunnyvale, CA or USA remote base.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Automate reports of bandwidth utilization, tcp optimization & performance of all SDWAN devices.

Plan, design, and document SD-WAN architecture and deploy automated templates (with zero touch provisioning) to all locations.

Build proposal for accelerating the TCP traffic utilizing SDWAN.

Configure & orchestrate silverpeak SD WAN for remote sites.

Configure security zones & VRF’s to control the traffic on SD-WAN.

Configure SDWAN HA, Edge HA, WCCP and VRRP implementations.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

Five (5) or more years of experience in a network administrator role, managing and building a complex network with at least 3 years of Silver Peak experience.

Experience with multi-vendor routing protocols BGP, OSPF.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Understanding and knowledge of Cisco Routers & Switches.

Knowledge of BGP & OSPF.

Silver Peak SPX certification and knowledge of configuring and installing cloud silverpeak appliances.
