BravoTECH, a leader in IT staffing and staff augmentation services, seeks an Information Security Analyst for preferred Hospital Health Care Client in Donelson, TN This is a 3-year Project Summary The main function of an Info Security Analyst is to plan, coordinate, and implement security measures for information systems to regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction or disclosure of information.
A typical information security analyst is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing security measures to safeguard the computer database.
Job Responsibilities Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans.
Develop and interpret security policies and procedures.
Participate in security compliance efforts.
Develop and deliver training materials and perform general security awareness and specific security technology training.
Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies.
Skills Strong experience and detailed technical knowledge in security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and application security.
Consistent implementation of security solutions.
Experience in infrastructure or application-level vulnerability testing and auditing.
EducationExperience Bachelor’ s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
5 to 7 years experience required.
Principal Accountabilities bull Analyzes and defines security requirements for a variety of IT issues bull Assist with implementation, operation and maintenance of solutions for IT security requirements bull Gathers, analyzes and organizes technical information about systems, existing security products and ongoing programs bull proactive monitoring systems, applications and services to for security and health bull Assists with development, analysis and implementation of security specifications bull Develops documentation to support ongoing security systems operations, maintenance and specific problem resolution bull Work with Cyber Threat senior analysts and engineers to review, interpret and adapt customer, regulatory and corporate security and compliance requirements into technical design options bull Participates in in-house, regulatory and industry teams including working groups, committees, incident response teams and business continuity teams as required bull Participates with Enterprise Risk Management and Cyber Threat Incident Response teams to ensure proper identification of policy issuesviolations bull Assist with implementation of security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security bull Conduct research on network products, services, protocols and standards to remain abreast of developments in the information security industry Key Performance Indicators bull Meets project deliverables on time and on budget bull Creates effective remediation plans and controls for identified security risks and gaps bull Responds to security events in accordance with the Change Healthcare Incident Response Plan and Procedures Education and Experience bull Bachelor’ s degree in computer information securityrelated field or equivalent experience bull Three to five years’ experience in IT security andor IT bull Security, GSEC or CISSP certification Required Knowledge and Skill bull Solid knowledge of information security principles and practices bull Working experience with a wide range of security technologies including, but not limited to Endpoint Detection and Response solutions, IDSIPS, Firewalls, data loss prevention, integrity monitoring, SIEM, security incident response bull Working experience with on-premise, virtual and cloud environments bull Deep understanding of Windows and Linux systems hardening, containerization, and cloud security controls bull Strong practical Windows and Linux-based systems administration skill in cloud and virtualized environments bull Understanding of PCI-DSS 2.0, FISMACMSNIST 800-53a, EHNAC, SOX and HIPAA bull Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations bull Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals bull Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, clients and customers bull Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry, trigonometry, calculus and differential equations bull Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations bull Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists bull Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form Please note All applicants may be subject to a criminal history check and drug screen.
