Immigration Specialist

What You Will Do Adopts a comprehensive understanding of GalaxErsquos business, policies and procedures with close attention to interactions with employees, management, recruiting, and Human Resources.

Assists with responding to RFEs.

Monitors deadlines, individual and CAP season, to ensure timely response, so that employees are not out of status.

Assists with related processes and procedures to support the companyrsquos immigration and compliance.

Supports and delivers training with respect to immigration practices and requirements.

Collaborates and works with other departments, management, and senior leadership to address and resolve legal matters.

Participates in weekly conference calls with outside counsel.

Assists in developing best practices.

May provide support during DHS site visits.

Tracks filings and responses updates necessary databases.

Supports invoice reconciliation and monitoring of fees related to employeersquos individual filings.

May conduct research on legal matters impacting the Company, including state and federal statutes and regulations.

Miscellaneous legal and administrative projects as needed.

Skills and Experience You Will Need Good writing and communication skills The ability to prioritize and work under a tight schedule Basic computer skills In depth knowledge of legal terminology and principles The ability to analyze legal documents for accuracy Very good written and oral communication skills.

Understanding of MS Office-Word, Excel and Outlook.
