IBMi Analyst

Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent One (1) year of work experience with IBM iAS400 software and hardware preferred One (1) year of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Work, Outlook, etc) preferred Valid driver’s licenses and good driving record Job Purpose and Scope The scope of this job will include performing daytime or nighttime operations using third party vendor programs on an IBM System to ensure bank-processing jobs complete accurately and on time.

Essential Functions Completes the Day or Night operations as specified on the DayOps or NightOps checklist, including completing critical data transmission processing jobs.

Completes the balancing and loading of specific data files while ensuring jobs complete accurately and on time.

Verifies all backups complete successfully and are delivered off-site.

Works with vendors andor IT staff members to resolve and document problems or errors that occur during the daily or nightly operations.

Creates software support cases for vendor issues and follow through to resolve any issues.

Performs upkeep and monitor IBM Systems in the server room for issues.

Loads necessary software program upgrades and run reorganization jobs.

Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work including a flexible schedule and ability to work after hours as necessary.

Follows Bank policy, procedures and guidelines.
