In this role, you will collaborate with the software lead for embedded coding decisions, supplier management of software development, and flight control computer architecture design.
You will also assist in reviewing low level requirements and any in house software efforts.What you can do:Work closely with team lead in establishment of flight control computer software decisions including processors and compiler decisionsParticipate in software team requirements to support Flight Controls systems development and certificationAssist in defining IO requirements for flight control software with other aircraft systemsReview coding standards and software process definition with team leadSupport supplier management of coding and low level testing effortsCollaborate with Intelligent Systems, Avionics, Powertrain, and other aircraft systems in the development of the full software platformWhat you can contribute:Solid understanding of embedded coding and auto-codingMost experience with flight critical aircraft software on remote piloted or autonomous aircraftProven experience with defining software requirementsProven understanding of real time operating systemsSome knowledge of C/C++Comfortable with MATLAB, Simulink, and StateflowExposure to software supplier managementHighly collaborative and phenomenal communication skillsB.S.
