Guidewire Developer

We are currently seeking a Guidewire Developer for our client in the Insurance domain.

This is a Contract position and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration 9 Months Contract (Possible Contract to hire) Location Glendale, AZ Role Guidewire Developer Primary Skills Cloud Configuration Role Description The Guidewire Developer would need to have at least 5 years of experience.

Must Have Skills
– 4-5 years hands-on experience on GW applications, preferably on Claim Center.

– Experience working on Configuration and Integration areas
– Certified in any GW CC Version between 7.x
– 10.x
– CC Upgrade experience preferred
– Cloud Experience (PersonalAWS) is preferred.

– Good hands on experience on Java, GOSU Oracle
– Good domain understanding of Property and casualty Insurance.

– Working experience in agile projects, using agile tools such as Rally, Jira etc.

– Experience working on Version control tools such as SVN etc.

– Good Verbal and written communication.

Job Responsibilities
– Being able to estimate assigned user stories.

– Analysis, development and Unit testing of assigned user stories.

– Participating in Code reviews etc.

– QA support.

Education Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, ElectricalElectronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
