Front End Developer

We’re looking for a full stack developer to join a talented team of technologists in driving exceptional user experience and efficiency. You will be part of a rapidly growing neuroscience company and leading innovator in solving one of the most profound problems in the world today – stress. You’ll be working on building mobile and web applications that are part of an all-natural stress intervention system that help our users reduce stress in their lives.

You will have strong full stack software engineering skills across the entire development process, excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interface with various technical and non-technical teams. You will be responsible for the user experience, architecture, and overall performance of mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop JavaScript / Typescript code to integrate with customer websites, apps and APIs

• Build mobile first web applications using React, GraphQL and Firebase

• Work as part of a cross-functional team, which includes user experience researchers, designers, product managers, back-end engineers, and other functional specialists

• Selecting and implementing the right tools, frameworks, languages, and technologies for the job, with a focus on open-source solutions

• Design, document, and communicate solutions for improvement

Required

• Desire to work in a startup environment, able to self-manage and work remotely

• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills

• Ability to learn and adapt quickly and ready to face new challenges.

• Experience with JavaScript, Typescript and single page web applications (HTML5, CSS3)

• Experience with git or similar version control systems

• Experience with the design, development and/or consumption of RESTful, GraphQL and 3rd party APIs

• Experience working in an agile development process

• Strong sense of ownership and commitment to writing understandable, maintainable, and reusable software

• Experience with e-commerce / payment processing solutions (Stripe or similar) is a bonus

Salary: $70,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
