Quality Control Technician IDR’s largest client is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join its team in Norcross, GA Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician include: Installing and servicing CCTV systems, phone systems, security cameras, fire & burg alarm systems Conduct field quality control inspection audits to ensure customer objectives are satisfied Test Category 5e and 6 copper cables to manufacturer and BICSI standards Participate in team meetings and QDCs Perform QC on multiple clients Train subcontractors and technicians on best practices for quality installations Job Requirements: Required skills/experience of the Quality Control Technician include: Must be comfortable with traveling up to 4 weeks at a time across the US Must have strong experience with installing commercial fire & burg systems, CCTV, camera & DVR 5-7 years of Field & Cabling experience Knowledge of Cat 5 cable certification required At least one Cabling certification preferred What’s in It for you?
