EyeSouth supports its affiliated practices and physician partners with capital, administrative resources, operating expertise, and strategic guidance with an absolute focus on clinical quality and a patient-first culture.EyeSouth’s affiliate network now consists of 22 practices with nearly 200 doctors providing medical and surgical eyecare services at over 100 locations, including 13 surgery centers due to favorable organic growth trends and an impressive track-record of successful affiliations (M& A).Responsibilities:The Database Admin/Architect’s primary responsibility will be to work on projects as a Senior Azure Data Administrator/Architect/Consultant.

This role will act as an advisor for senior leadership and new and existing affiliates by designing and building analytics architectures to enable better business outcomes.This role will work across internal stakeholders to determine solution requirements and rationalize architecture decisions.

This role will collect, aggregate, and analyze structured/unstructured data from multiple internal and external sources and present patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers.

The goal is to support the use of data-driven insights to drive the senior leadership team to achieve business outcomes and objectives.Leads the design and development and administration of the data warehouse for business intelligence solutions.Designs and implements highly scalable ETL processes with complex data transformations and data formats including error handling and monitoring.Maintains and supports the data model by implementing and managing strategies for tuning and optimization for stability and performance.Recommends improvements to BI processes to improve on data delivery and overall processing efficiency.Responds quickly and effectively to production issues and takes responsibility for seeing those issues through resolution.Contributes to the team effort by completing other tasks/projects as needed.Qualifications:Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline required.5 years of Data warehouse Administration, Architecture and Database Design including Data Quality processes and governance required.Advanced skills related to BI / Visualization solutions using tools such as SSRS, Tableau, PowerBI, Designing Skills.Prior experience in successfully building and implementing a large data base and business intelligence solutions required.Prior hands-on experience of dimensional modelling required.Experience with Azure and MS Power BI with data administration, architecture, design, analytics and deployment is strongly preferred.Working Knowledge of design, build and supports data base, data analytics, application integration and meeting customer expectations.Hands-on experience in Query Tuning, Performance Tuning, and building aggregations for large scale DW solutions.Strong MS-SQL Server 2012 / 2014 experience with hands-on database development, testing, performance tuning.Proficient with the concepts, principles and practices of software applications, data bases, BI, data warehouse platform.Working Knowledge and understanding of scripting and programming languages.Exposes data to end-users using Azure API Apps or any other modern visualization platform or experience.Serves as project manager to plan and lead changes and process improvement by managing.

expectations, overseeing deployment, tracking status and communications with key stakeholders.Proactively monitors database environments (backups, recovery, capacity planning, job scheduling, etc.), with performance tuning and troubleshooting.Knowledgeable about technical concepts, principle and apply project management methodologies to support the business expectations.Experience in product development and/or consulting delivery engagements a plus.Provides support for planning and performing database migrations, upgrades and updates.Documents business requirements and technical architecture/design.Works as an effective team member and self-motivated individual contributorsProven ability to deliver high quality work on time and with minimal supervisionsAssists in performance tuning and diagnosing issues as they arise.Assists in the definition and implementation of database standards.Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames.

Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.Team player that develops strong collaborative working relationships with internal partners and can effectively engage and ability to build consensus among cross-functional teams.Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
